Tragalgar Square. This is from one of the first days in London. It was such a beautiful day. I love this corner(s)!
Trying to finish reading Jane Eyre in St. James Park on July 4th! We tried to represent the USA without being to obvious.
Me conquering Big Ben! When I first saw Big Ben I was speechless. You see it pictures growing up, but witnessing the real thing is unlike anything you can imagine. The architecture is some of the most amazing and the gold on the clock stands out so much more than you can imagine and the amount of detail is astounding. It is honestly not at all what I expected, it was better!
One of the many museums we have visited. This the Geffrye Museum. They had amazing gardens in the back and the ivy growing all over the building was beautiful!
I believe this is at the top of St. Paul's Cathedral. Like I previously stated we climbed 430 stairs all the way to the top. The views were absolutely amazing and made the climb worth it!
Somewhere in Chelsea. I decided to re-enact this guys stance because it was odd looking. I have my own interpretation of why he takes this stance. It is a bit colorful so I will save that for later.
WE FOUND CHIPOTLE! Monumental day. A little piece of home in the middle of London. It is obviously not as good as the ones at home, but it is good enough for now.
Experiencing our first rain in London.
Fourth of July at our first club in London, Ruby Blue. We met some fellow Texans that night and also had a few drinks to celebrate mom's birthday.
Today has been another long, great day in London. We went to the National Gallery that was full of some of the most beautiful paintings. The Degas and Monet were my favorite. There were moments where I was tempted to make a run for it with some of them! I also got to take a tour of Westminster Abbey and it was stunning. It was incredibly crowded but so worth it. There is so much history there it is almost unbelievable. We climbed to the top of the Monument as well. 311 steps up a spiral staircase! To finish up the night we picked up dinner from a local chain called Pret-A-Manger and headed to Trafalgar Square where we watched Cinderella broadcast live from the Royal Opera House. We were a little cold, but we had such a great time. Our entire flat went so we had fun getting to know them! All in all it was a great day! I miss you all!
Love you!
