Paris, Je Taime...

My last lunch in London, which was amazing! I have, of course, been craving this meal since I last had. It is shame (and probably best) that we didn't find this restaurant until the very end!

My bedroom for the last 5 weeks! It is actually much cleaner in this picture than it was at any other time.

2 of my 4 bags. Ridiculous. I know!

Our living room!

The dining room, also part of the living room! We all spent a lot of time in both of those rooms.

The kitchen, which was always in a perpetual state of upheaval! We had so much fun and trouble in that kitchen!

My old flat!

It took us 7 bags to get to Paris

First day in Paris and first picture of the Eiffel Tower!

We got lucky a couple of days and had really beautiful weather! This city is amazing and everything you imagine it to be!

The Arc de Triomphe!

Filled with shopping and restaurants and leads the way into the Louvre!

We didn't use the metro because the map itself was scary, so we walked...a lot. I don't think my feet and legs have ever been so sore from just walking in my life.

Nutella has become a big part of my life!

The Invalides. This is where Napoleon's tomb is and it is ridiculously huge!

You cannot go far in Paris without turning around seeing the Eiffel Tower. This was actually quite helpful when needing to find our hotel since it sits right behind the tower!

Some Paris street art!

The Grand Palais!

The Petit Palais!

One of the many beautiful churches in Paris!

The Royal Opera House! Absolutely stunning on the inside. To be able to go to an opera there would be amazing!

This was taken in the gardens that lead up to the Louvre! It is so beautiful here. While there we saw a bride-to-be having her photos taken!

The Louvre! We didn't get to go again because the line was over 3hrs long and it was already 2pm. Needless to say we wouldn't haven't gotten anything else done.

Here is the random beach on the Seine!

Notre Dame! Yes we climbed to the top and saw the most amazing view of Paris!

Here is the first thing you see when you reach the top of Notre Dame and it literally takes your breath away!

BEAUTIFUL!

I'm actually at the moment not sure what this is, but it was incredibly beautiful and they had a beach volleyball tournament going on in front!

Jill and I at the Louvre!

So it is my last day in Paris and my trip has been amazing! I have learned and experienced more than I can ever have imagined. Looking back at the pictures of everything I have done leaves me speechless. It all went by so quickly, but I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to do what I have done. Paris has been amazing! There is so much to see that you are constantly turning your head to be sure you don't miss anything. This city is so large and full of life! There is so much I missed, but that only means that I have more to experience the next time I come. As much as I have enjoyed my time in Europe it is time to go home! I can't wait to see everyone!
I love you all more than words!
Love Tiff!

Just Takin It Easy...

Made my way back to Portobello Road this weekend and picked out my vacation home! It matches my room at home!

Headless Street Performers in Notting Hill

This is the street I live on in London, Bedford Place.

And this is my flat! We are at the very top!

I saw Phantom of the Opera Saturday night and was able to sneak a picture of the stage before they started yelling at people NOT to take pictures!

My flat mate Chelsea and I at Phantom of the Opera!

I spent a lot of my time in the park this weekend! The weather was so beautiful that one day I fell asleep and got a sun burn!

Typical day in the park!

Finally had afternoon tea and it was delicious! This is the before shot...

...and after! The only things left are the things I didn't like.

A random street sign in London.

Big Ben at night! So beautiful!

Looking down the River Thames!

Another shot of Big Ben and some of Parliament at night!

The London Eye!

The color kept changing on this statue making it look different with each color!

Houses of Parliament and Big Ben from across the River Thames

The Eye again!

London was so beautiful at night!

This is a shot from inside one of the capsules of the London Eye!

Parliament and Big Ben from above!

The color of the London Eye night is the beautiful vibrant blue!

Big Ben is to the right!

So beautiful!

It is hard to see my face, but that is in fact me on the footbridge looking down the river!

Last shot of the night! I loved the glow of the blue on the water!

Inside the Victoria and Albert museum!

Chelsea!

Leslie!

Laura!

Last night we went to the London Eye and had an amazing time! Seeing London at night from that high up was really a great experience. I am coming to the end of my time in London and it doesn't seem real. It feels like just yesterday I was doing the countdown to get here and now I am counting down the days until I return home. I know have missed so much, but I am extremely happy with everything I have done, learned, and experienced. A lot of people speak of being sad to leave, but I don't feel like I have that right. I have had the experience of a life-time and I am going to choose to cherish that instead of be sad. With only one day left I plan on just enjoying the city! It really is amazing and vibrant and full of so much history it's unreal! I attached some pictures of my three amazing flatmates! I got very lucky with these three girls. Well I am off to finish packing, which is a nightmare. Don't worry you will see pictures soon!
I miss and love you all!
