(1. On a lion outside of the British Museum, 2. One of the first buildings I saw when we got here. I was awestruck for a good ten minutes, 3. Buckingham Palace as seen from one of end of St. James Park, 4. Trafalgar square (where the Harry Potter premiere happened), and 5. St. James Park)
Here are just a few pictures from my first day in London. It is exactly how I expected it to be and at the same time so much better. The buildings are more jaw dropping than I could have ever imagined. We have been doing most of our traveling via the tube, which is an experience in and of itself. I have found that it is very easy to get lost. However, we have been doing a lot of walking and by doing this finding a lot of interesting places. Today we saw St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, and the Tower Bridge. St. Paul's was my favorite. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside but it would have been unfair to show them because they in no way would have done the cathedral justice. Anyways, I will be posting more often and updating you on all that's happening. I love and miss you all!
BTW had my first fish and chips in London...I like!
