This is where J.K. Rowling (author of Harry Potter...DUH) got the idea for the lightning bolt scar on Harry's forehead. I had to put this on here because I finally got to see the move (in Scotland) and it was amazing. And yes I cried...a lot!
Our first night in Scotland. I wish this picture did the sky more justice. The colors were absolutely beautiful. The night sky was the amazing color of blue and it was cloudy but the clouds added to the beauty in that it made the hue of blue that much more vibrant.
This was in the park below the castle. We were on our way though and took the long way around and it was all uphill. Needless to say by the time I made it to the top I was ready for a nap!

This was my first protest in London. I am still not sure what they were protesting but this was in front Westminster Abbey and to the side of Parliament.
Parliament. The theme of this trip is definitely turning into lions. There are so many.
We weren't able to go in Parliament because the wait was over two hours but just being on the outside and experiencing the beauty of the building was amazing!

Westminster Abbey. On this day we weren't able to go in, but we finally did and the inside is not at all what you would expect. There is so much to see it was almost overwhelming, but all together a really great experience. We saw the tombs of some of the former kings and queens of London and where poets are buried. During the tour they give you an audio guide and it helps explain everything, which helps while exploring otherwise you would be soooo lost.

My new best friend. I like to think that by now I am a pro at traveling on the underground. However, it is hard to when you travel with too many bags. Note to self: Pack lighter.
We spent this past weekend in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was really enjoyable. It rained the whole time we were there except the last day and it was beautiful. There was so much to do and I know we missed so much, but I think we saw a good amount. This week should be another busy one. Tomorrow we head to Oxford for the entire day and we are seeing Billy Elliot Wednesday night. I can not wait. Hope all is well with everyone.
